Pumaquiro was created 10 years ago as an opportunity for development in the Peruvian Amazon forest with a sawmill in Puerto Maldonado by the Michie family. We began our wood production focus on boards and appliances for the restoration of public places in Peru. We're constantly updating our standards to maintain our environmental commitment.
Mission
Offer different types of wood like lupuna, shihuahuaco, and pumaquiro; besides high-quality wood finishes for the international market, ensuring its legal, technological and sustainable extraction that contributes to the conservation of the forest ecosystem.
Vision
Provide fine wood products to the world, produced in a sustainable and efficient manner, and help to preserve the legal wood extraction with local communities for benefit of our customers.
